New jobs

The Banchory & Leggart project is employment-led. That means generating new business investment – and consequently, new jobs – in Aberdeen City and Shire is one of our driving forces.

The development represents a £700 million plus investment in the region with the potential to create 6,000 jobs.

The business park will be capable of supporting several thousand jobs.

And, as it flourishes, it will stimulate further innovation – often in tandem with our local universities – and underpin many of the strategic economic goals of our region.

The development phase of the project, of course, will provide the basis for work for several years: many jobs across many professions, disciplines and trades.
